Nicole Sanders
Industry Education Manager,  Illinois Liquor Control Commission

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bradley University. She has served as the Industry Education Manager of the Illinois Liquor Control Commission (ILCC) since 2022. In her role as Industry Education Manager, she also oversees the Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education and Training (BASSET) and Under 21 programs. The ILCC’s Industry Education Division is responsible for educating the public and the alcoholic beverage industry on liquor laws, regulations, and best practices so businesses can meet compliance requirements. Additionally, Nicole’s department trains employees in liquor serving establishments and provides resources to combat underage alcohol sales and consumption. Nicole’s background in Marketing and Advertising extends to her knowledge of trends and analytics that provides the agency with “real time” insight. Her proficiency in this area allows the ILCC to stay on top the latest trends in the hospitality industry. Her experience in training and brand development has helped amplify the Commission’s social media space and create transparency for open communication with the agency and the people the ILCC serve throughout Illinois.
