Compliance Deadline for IL Secure Choice: July 31, 2019 for Employers with 100+ Employees

By July 31, 2019, Illinois employers with more than 100 employees must register for the new Illinois Secure Choice Retirement Savings Program. The next wave of employers required to comply with the program – employers with more than 25 employees – must sign up for the program or offer an equivalent retirement savings program by November 30, 2019.

If you currently offer an employer-sponsored retirement plan to any of your employees, you will not need to facilitate the State's program.
