Chicago Wins Big at 2019 James Beard Awards

After months of anticipation, Chicago hosted the James Beard Awards Monday, May 6 at the Lyric Opera. In addition to the awards Monday evening, the weekend was filled with events and celebrations to welcome America's culinary leaders to Chicago.  

Congratulations to all the winners from Illinois: 

• Kevin Boehm and Rob Katz of Boka Restaurant Group (Outstanding Restaurateur)
• Greg Wade of Publican Quality Bread (Best Baker)
• Beverly Kim and Johnny Clark of Parachute (Best Chef: Great Lakes)
• Pacific Standard Time (Outstanding Restaurant Design - 76 Seats and Over)

Thank you to everyone who made this incredible JBF Awards weekend a reality, especially the Chicago Host Committee, who planned more than 40 ancillary events during the weekend!
