Sam Toia on Mayoral Race, Business Community Support

Crain's Chicago spoke with IRA President & CEO Sam Toia and several business leaders about which mayoral candidates will have the backing of Chicago's business community. 

"People have definitely been slow to engage," says Toia of business leaders' sentiment. Even though the IRA is concerned that the next mayor will slow or reverse a big jump in tourism under outgoing Mayor Rahm Emanuel, "a lot of people in the business community have been sitting back waiting to see who makes the runoff."
