IRA on Proposed Scheduling Mandate Ordinance in Chicago City Council

IRA President & CEO Sam Toia recently co-authored a letter to the editor in the Chicago Sun-Times that breaks down why the proposed "Fair Workweek" ordinance is a misguided proposal that will devastate a broad spectrum of industries in Chicago.

The IRA continues to work with a coalition of business partners, employers, and employees to defeat the proposed ordinance that would place a series of rigid scheduling mandates on employers.
