IRA Launches Windy City Works to Protect Flexible Schedules in Chicago

Yesterday, the Progressive Caucus of the Chicago City Council announced their renewed push for a "Fair Workweek" ordinance in the City of Chicago. The ordinance would place a set of restrictive mandates on employers' scheduling practices. Click here to read the ordinance.

In response to this ordinance, the IRA, along with IRMA, IHLA, and the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, has launched the Windy City Works coalition - a group of employers, employees, community leaders, and concerned citizens working to protect flexible scheduling in Chicago.
