Sam Toia on CBS2: Patio Season Great for Business, City of Chicago

This week, CBS2 Chicago aired a segment on the emergence of warm weather in the city, and how restaurants benefit by utilizing their patios, sidewalk cafes, rooftops, and other outdoor spaces. 

IRA President & CEO Sam Toia explained that even though the weather has been tough in 2018 so far, “you get a few days like this in a row, you’ll see your sales go up, and you’ll see your profit loss statement look better and make up for the first two weeks in April."

There are more than 1,000 outdoor dining options in the city of Chicago.
