Springfield Restaurateurs, IRA Push Back on Proposed Local Restaurant Tax

This week, restaurateurs in Springfield, IL mobilized to oppose a possible "dine-in tax" or "restaurant tax" at a special Springfield City Council hearing to consider various budget proposals and revenue options. The IRA worked with prominent Springfield restaurateurs and the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce to voice the business community's concerns over a restaurant tax.
