IRA President & CEO Sam Toia recently talked with Chicago Tribune about the impact of Chicago being named 2017 Restaurant City of the Year by Bon Appétit Magazine.

Sam explained how chef-driven, neighborhood restaurants with a prominent culinary leader behind the scenes will continue to lead the way. “We’re a culinary epicenter,” said Toia. “We have a little bit of everything from Rick Bayless to Tony Mantuano.
