Cook County Residents & Business Call on Commissioners to Can The Soda Tax

This week, hundreds of Cook County residents & businesses called on Cook County Commissioners to repeal the Cook County Sweetened Beverage Tax at a Can The Tax coalition rally. IRA President & CEO was emcee of the event. 

"Whether the County Board votes of a repeal tomorrow, in October, or in November...we aren't going anywhere," said Toia. "The choice of Cook County Commissioners is clear. You can stand for an illogical, regressive tax, or stand up for the residents, families, and businesses of Cook County."
