This week, Manny's Cafeteria and Delicatessen celebrated its 75th Anniversary at an event benefiting the IRA Educational Foundation. Mayor Rahm Emanuel and hundreds of friends and family applauded Manny's incredible achievement as a staple of Chicago's restaurant community. Six ProStart students from Chicago Public Schools participated in the event.

A heartfelt thank you to Former IRA Chairman Ken Raskin, IRAEF Board Member Dan Raskin, Patti Raskin, and the entire Manny's team for supporting the IRAEF and its mission to build Illinois' hospitality workforce through career exploration, workforce development and connections to post-secondary education.
