Restaurateur Mike Murphy Joins IRA Staff as Central IL Rep

The State Journal-Register highlighted the career of Mike Murphy as he begins his new role as Member Relations Manager with the Illinois Restaurant Association. Mike is a lifelong restaurateur and former owner of Charlie Parker's Diner in Springfield. Mike achieved national recognition for Charlie Parker's as the winner of the Thomas' Hometown Breakfast Battle in 2015, besting 165 restaurants nationwide in a six-week, online voting competition hosted by Bimbo's Bakery USA, which owns the English muffin brand.

We are excited to have Mike join the team as an IRA representative in Central Illinois!
