ILLINOIS RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION HOSTS MEET chicago northwest hospitality iNDUSTRY DAY on JUNE 29 in Schaumburg
On Wednesday, June 29 the Illinois Restaurant Association (IRA) and Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) will hold a series of events in Schaumburg to celebrate the thriving hospitality industry, kicking off with a round table discussion for industry members, followed by special party for Meet Chicago Northwest area residents.
Schaumburg Round Table
Located at Chicago Prime Steakhouse (1444 E Algonquin Rd.), Schaumburg area Hospitality & Tourism Owner/Operators are invited to participate in a round table discussion from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Guest speakers include Lisa Timbo, General Manager at Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel and Dan Spears, Vice President of Industry Relations & Licensing at Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI). The discussion will highlight the Schaumburg area convention forecast, best practices for music licensing and current issues facing the restaurant industry. Admission is free for all Illinois Restaurant Association Operator members, with varying ticket prices for Associate members and non-members. Later in the evening, the IRA and BMI will host an industry party at Punch Bowl Social (1100 American Ln.) from 5 to 10 p.m., bringing together the music and hospitality industries to celebrate the vibrant businesses in the Schaumburg area. The event will feature lively food and drink, and a live performance from BMI singer/songwriter Paul McDonald.
