Hash House a Go Go

As a young boy growing up in Mexico City, Arturo Carvallo had never thought he would be a Chef in the States. It was expected that Carvallo would follow in his father’s footsteps and become a mechanical engineer, which he did. After receiving his degree, Carvallo made a difficult choice – he would leave his family, career and country to go to the United States and pursue his dream of working in the culinary arts. He trained at the highly respected Culinary Institute of America in Chicago and has enjoyed a successful career since that fateful decision over 20 years ago working for companies such as Hard Rock Café, Cheesecake Factory and Brinker International. In 2012, Carvallo joined Hash House A Go Go as a corporate Chef.  Carvallo is excited about bringing “twisted farm food” to Chicago and moving the company forward with his culinary skills and expertise
